361 Degrees are delighted to welcome Mike Farmer to the company as the Head of Technical, a new position within the company.

Mike joins 361 Degrees from a leading residential housing developer and has 12 years of experience in a cross section of all building services engineering, from large scale mixed use residential developments to healthcare and research facilities.

Having worked for a large Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) contractor in the past, Mike will head up a new department that is focused on technical support, research and development of both existing heating, air conditioning and ventilation, as well as new areas such as combined heat and power (CHP) and combined cooling heat and power (CCHP).

New Head of Technical

On joining 361 Degrees Mike stated: “I am really excited to be part of 361 Degrees’ continued growth. The development of the new department will allow me and 361 Degrees to research and develop new products and services that will help our clients to get even more from their mechanical and environmental systems.”

Mike’s appointment is the second major move in the last year and shows 361 Degrees’ commitment to both excellence and innovation.

Go-to partner in HVAC

On the hiring of Mike, General Manager Mark Penprase stated “Back in 2014 we created a strategy to become the go-to partner in HVAC. Over the last 18 months we have put several pieces in place to achieve this goal. Our new premises are state of the art and allow us to be flexible and meet the needs of our clients. In August 2015 we hired a Head of Marketing to work on a new website, social media strategy and partner programme.

I am delighted to welcome Mike to 361 Degrees as the next part of this journey. As Head of Technical, I know Mike will further our culture of growth and innovation and I look forward to working with him on CHP and other projects in the future.”
