An upgraded building management system was one of the keys to this project at the Winnersh Triangle business park, near Reading.
The 361 Degrees team installed a VRF air conditioning system along with a new hot water cylinder, so new software was needed to accommodate the changes. The result is much greater control over the environment, which improves the health and productivity of occupants as well as lowering running costs.
The new system features four Mitsubishi Electric City Multi units, which provide simultaneous heating and cooling to office staff. Some air handling units were retained alongside the brand new equipment, but upgraded to meet current regulations and ensure effective distribution throughout the building.
