Working in an unoccupied building, whether it is a new build or a refurbishment, can be a luxury for an HVAC installation. Often, we need to plan around the people who work in a space day in and day out, minimising disruption while delivering the project on time and on budget.
This was the case for a mechanical services installation at Wellcroft House in Slough. Working alongside contractor Overbury, we provided services for the ground floor canteen and meeting rooms, along with three floors of offices.
Our work included the installation of new pipework and fan coil units to accommodate a new office layout and to cope with increased demand for heating and hot water. Air handling units were updated and adjusted to ensure balance throughout the redesigned space.
We also provided water treatment services, ensuring the system was fully flushed and tested to avoid any risk of contamination – a process often overlooked when replacing pipework.
